Order Cancellation Overview
At PartyPop, many of our products are custom-made and personalized, which affects cancellation eligibility. This Cancellation Policy explains when and how an order may be cancelled. This policy is subject to the Consumer Protection Act, 2002 (Ontario) and does not limit any rights you may have under applicable law.
1. Personalized Orders
Personalized or custom-made products cannot be cancelled once:
- The order has been confirmed and
- Production or personalization has begun
This includes, but is not limited to:
- Custom text, names, or messages
- Personalized gift items
- Custom-curated hampers made to order
Because these items are prepared specifically for you, cancellations are not possible after production starts, except where required by law.
2. Cancellation Before Production (Personalized Items)
- Cancellation may be accepted at PartyPop’s discretion
- A full or partial refund may be issued, depending on processing status
- You must contact us as soon as possible after placing your order
3. Non-Personalized Products
- The order has not yet been shipped
- The cancellation request is received within a reasonable time
Once shipped, cancellations are no longer possible and the order will fall under our Returns & Refunds Policy.
4. How to Request a Cancellation
To request a cancellation, please contact us with:
- Your order number
- Reason for cancellation
Cancellation requests are reviewed on a case-by-case basis and are not guaranteed.
5. Refunds for Cancelled Orders
- Refunds will be issued to the original payment method
- Processing times may vary depending on your payment provider
6. Orders That Cannot Be Cancelled
- The order has already been shipped
- Personalization or production has started
- The request is received after delivery
7. PartyPop’s Right to Cancel Orders
- Pricing or typographical errors
- Product unavailability
- Suspected fraudulent activity
- Inaccurate customer information
In such cases, a full refund will be issued where applicable.
8. Governing Law
This Cancellation Policy is governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein.
